Rihanna Visits School Children In Malawi

International superstar, Rihanna visited a school in Lilongwe, Malawi on Thursday Jan. 26th. The 28-year-old pop star toured the classrooms and met with the students during her charity trip on behalf of her Clara Lionel Foundation.

She was also in the African country working as the ambassador for charities Global Citizen and the Global Partnership for Education.


Rihanna founded CLF in 2012 in honor of her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite.
According to her, 'working together, I know we can amplify our efforts and ensure that millions of children gain access to education globally'.

Through a multi-year partnership, Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF), international advocacy group Global Citizen and GPE campaign work together to make sure the world's poorest children have a chance to better themselves.

Miss Anambra, Chioma Stephanie Obiadi beat 36 other contestants to be crowned the winner of the 40th edition of Miss NIgeria 2016 which held on Monday, 19th December, at Eko Hotels. She went home with a brand new SUV, one year serviced apartment, all expense paid trip to France, a 6 month skills acquisition training in any institution of her choice and N5 million cash prize. She would also represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe contest next year.

Her father, President Buhari had earlier announced that government funds were not used to pay for Zahra Buhari's wedding to billionaire son Ahmed Indimi. His family and personal aides, he said, put the money together to foot the bill.

Nigerian Comedian, Bovi took to his Instagram to share an SOS post that his luggage was mistakenly swapped yesterday at the airport.

The top Comedian has done a follow up post announcing that the luggage has been found, thanks to social media.

He shared a photo of his bag and captioned it with:

France football will be hosting the Ballon D'or award tonight and the overwhelming favorite for the award is Cristiano Ronaldo after he helped his club to Champions league glory and led Portugal to win Euro 2016, but some Twitter users for one reason or the other still believe Messi will win the award and decided to post tweets suggesting Ronaldo won't win the award...

Messi meanwhile only won La Liga last season and failed to lead his country to Copa America glory.

The winner of the award is the player who receives the most votes from the 173 journalists allowed to participate in the award. Do you think Messi can win this award?
